2. Booking and Payment
(2.1) Booking Methods
Online Booking: Customers can book trips exclusively online through our official website. The booking process is designed to be user-friendly and secure, ensuring that customers can conveniently reserve their desired trips from the comfort of their homes.
(2.2) Payment Methods
- Credit Cards: We accept Visa and MasterCard for payments. A 3% processing fee is applied to all credit card transactions to cover the costs of payment processing.
- PayPal: Customers can also pay via PayPal, with a similar 3% processing fee.
- Bank Transfer: Payments can be made via bank transfer at no additional charge. This option allows customers to avoid processing fees associated with other payment methods.
(2.3) Currencies Accepted
- Euro (EUR): Our primary currency is the Euro.
- Other Currencies: Customers may choose to pay in their local currency. However, they are responsible for any exchange rate fees or additional charges incurred during the currency conversion process.
(2.4) Full Payment and Deposits
- Full Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm and secure the reservation.
- Deposits: In certain cases, we may allow deposits to hold a booking. The remaining balance must be paid within a specified period, details of which will be communicated during the booking process.
(2.5) Booking Confirmation
Email Confirmation: Once a booking is made and payment is processed, customers will receive a confirmation email with all relevant trip details, including the itinerary, payment receipt, and any additional instructions.
(2.6) Required Boarding Documents
ID Cards or Passports: Customers must present valid ID cards or passports when boarding. These documents are necessary to verify the identity of the traveler and ensure compliance with travel regulations.
3. Cancellation and Changes
(3.1) Cancellation Policy
Non-Refundable Items: Discounted fares, promotional fares, sale fares, and package deals are non-transferable and non-refundable. Vouchers, gift certificates, and promotional trips issued as donations, sponsorships, or prizes are also non-refundable.
(3.2) Refund Options
- Voucher Refund: Customers can opt for a non-transferable voucher valid for 3 months from the date of issuance. The voucher can be used for future purchases with Ytrips. Any unused balance after the validity period will be forfeited.
- Money Refund: Customers can request a money refund, which will be processed within 10-14 working days. Bank account details used for the original payment must be provided to facilitate the refund.
(3.3) Refund Schedule
- 31 days or more before departure: 100% refund.
- 25-30 days before departure: 80% refund.
- 17-24 days before departure: 50% refund.
- 8-16 days before departure: 25% refund.
- 0-7 days before departure: No refund.
- Unused or Partially Completed Trips: No refunds will be provided for unused portions of tickets or partially completed trips.
- Ytrips-Initiated Cancellations: Ytrips reserves the right to cancel or change tours up to 48 hours before departure due to insufficient passenger numbers or other unavoidable circumstances. In such cases, customers will be informed via email or phone and will receive a full refund within 14 days.
(3.4) Change Policy
- Ticket Transfer: Customers can transfer their tickets to another person, subject to a change fee
- €10 for a day trip.
- €20 for a multi-day trip (2-3 day trip), and
- €50 for a multi-day trip (3-7 day trip)
- Departure City Change: Subject to availability, customers can change the departure city for their trip. This change requires payment of any fare difference and a change fee as mentioned above.
4. Travel and Accommodation
(4.1)Inclusions
Varied Inclusions: The price of our trips may include transportation, accommodation, and activities, but these inclusions vary depending on the specific trip. Customers should refer to the trip details on our website to understand what is included in their chosen package.
(4.2) Accommodation
Multi-Day Trips: For trips longer than one day, accommodations are provided for anadditional charge. Customers should check the specific trip details on our website for information about accommodation options and charges.
5. Liability and Insurance
(5.1)Liability
- Environmental and Political Factors: Ytrips cannot be held responsible for changes or cancellations due to environmental conditions, customs issues, acts of terrorism, or other political factors. Only Ytrips can decide on trip cancellations due to weather conditions and will take necessary precautions as needed.
- Traffic and Mechanical Issues: Ytrips is not liable for delays caused by traffic jams, mechanical breakdowns, or other voyage-related conditions.
(5.2) Insurance
Personal Insurance: Ytrips does not provide travel insurance and strongly recommends that customers obtain their own insurance to cover medical expenses, loss of baggage, personal belongings, or other travel-related issues. All claims for reimbursement must be directed to the customer’s insurance provider, not Ytrips.
6. Passenger Responsibilities
(6.1) Travel Documents
- EU Citizens: Must carry a National Identification (ID) card.
- Non-EU Citizens: Must carry a valid passport along with either a residence permit or visa. Photocopies or electronic versions are not acceptable; original documents are required to board.
- Document Checks: Passports and ID cards are checked while boarding. Passengers without valid documents will not be permitted to join the trip, and no refund will be provided for reserved seats.
(6.2) Conduct and Punctuality
- Meeting Points: Passengers must be present at the designated meeting points on time, as announced via email or social media. Ytrips will not wait for late participants and will not issue refunds for missed departures.
- On-Trip Conduct: Passengers must follow instructions from Ytrips coordinators and adhere to the trip itinerary. Failure to comply may result in trip cancellation without refund.
- Personal Belongings: Passengers are responsible for their belongings throughout the trip. Ytrips is not liable for any loss or damage.
7. Data and Privacy
(7.1)Data Collected
Personal Information: Ytrips collects full names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, dates of birth, passport numbers, and departure cities for booking and customer support purposes.
(7.2) Usage
Trip Updates and Support: Collected data is used to provide trip updates and customer support. Ytrips adheres to German data protection laws to ensure the security and privacy of customer information.
(7.3) Marketing Consent
Photographs and Videos: By participating in our trips, customers consent to the use of their images in Ytrips marketing materials, including brochures, websites, print media, and videos. Customers who do not wish to be photographed or filmed should inform the Ytrips photographer.
8. Additional Services
(8.1) Extra Activities
- Not Included: Extra activities such as boat tours, guided tours, and pub crawls are not included in the travel package price unless otherwise stated. These activities are subject to the terms and conditions of local operators.
- Cancellation: Participants may cancel extra activities up to 14 days before the trip. No refunds are available for cancellations made after this period.

- Liability: Ytrips is not liable for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by force majeure events. Passengers do not have the right to cancel trips due to weather or traffic conditions, as only Ytrips can make such decisions.
