Booking with Ytrips is easy! Choose one of our exciting upcoming trips on our website, select the departure city most convenient for you, and specify the number of tickets. No, you don’t need to be a student to join our trips! While many of our participants are students, we welcome travelers aged 3 to 55 years old. If you wish to bring someone older, they must be accompanied by a younger person throughout the trip.

We ask for your birth date and contact details to ensure a smooth travel experience. These details are necessary for hotel bookings, legal requirements, and to keep in touch with you before and during the trip. Rest assured, your information is protected in compliance with data protection regulations.

At Ytrips, you can pay using a variety of methods: credit or debit cards, American Express, Visa, MasterCard, JCB, Klarna, EPS, Bancontact, and iDEAL. You can also use PayPal. Please note that for payments made by card or PayPal, a 3% processing fee applies.

Yes, you need to complete your payment within 5 days of registering to secure your spot. If your payment isn’t received within this time, and the trip is fully booked, your seat may be forfeited, and your payment will be refunded within 7 days. Early booking and payment are recommended to avoid disappointment.

After you make a payment, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Payments made by credit card or PayPal are processed quickly, while bank transfers may take up to 3 days. Once we see the payment in our account, we’ll send you a confirmation email.

Yes, you can pay for multiple participants in one transaction. Just make sure that each participant’s personal information is included in the payment details.

If you haven’t received a confirmation email, first check your spam folder. If the payment was made by bank transfer, please allow up to 3 days. If you still haven’t received confirmation, contact us immediately at info@ytrips.eu

If you and your friends are departing from the same city, we’ll do our best to ensure you’re on the same bus. While we cannot guarantee this in every case, we’ll make every effort to accommodate your request.

Refund and cancellation policies vary depending on the trip and the timing of your cancellation. For detailed information, please refer to the Terms & Conditions section on our website.

Refunds are available under certain conditions, as outlined in our Terms & Conditions. Please review this section carefully before requesting a cancellation.

Yes, if you can gather a group of at least 20 people from a non-listed city, we can arrange a departure from that city. Please contact us as early as possible to make these arrangements.

You can transfer your ticket to someone else by paying a transfer fee and providing their details to us. This allows them to join the trip in your place.

Departure and Travel FAQ's

Visa requirements depend on your nationality. EU nationals need a valid passport or ID card, while other nationals must carry a valid passport and residence/stay permits. We’ll check these documents before departure, and it’s your responsibility to ensure all documents are valid.

You can bring one piece of hand luggage (max 40cm x 30cm x 10cm, max 5kg) and one piece of check-in baggage (max 55cm x 40cm x 20cm, max 15kg).
Please note that exceeding these limits will incur a non-negotiable fee of €20, and we may not be able to transport the extra luggage. To ensure a comfortable journey, we recommend travelling light.

You’ll receive an email with the final departure times and locations 3 days before the trip. Be sure to check your inbox and spam folder for this information.

This additional charge is a refundable deposit of €10 to €20, requested by our partner hostels for room keys and potential damages. The deposit is fully (100%) refundable as long as you return the key and leave the room in good condition.

Our buses are clearly marked with the Ytrips logo. If you have any trouble finding the bus, you can contact us using the company number provided in your confirmation email or a specific WhatsApp group for the trip

Yes, you can request a female-only room. Please let us know in advance so we can arrange the accommodation accordingly.

The return time depends on various factors, including road and weather conditions, traffic, and the time we start our journey back. For an estimated return time, please ask your team leader during the trip.

For multi-day trips, we typically stay in larger hotel rooms. Before the trip, you’ll receive a Google form to specify your rooming preferences, such as staying with a particular person or in a female-only room. Upgrades to twin rooms are usually available on a first-come, first-served basis.

While we make every effort to secure your luggage on the bus, it is not insured. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers theft. Valuable items like passports, mobile phones, and laptops should never be left on the bus.

For most of our trips, the Euro is the accepted currency. However, countries like the Czech Republic, Hungary, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Switzerland have their own currencies. We recommend our partner Airalo (which delivers Esims in less than three minutes, allowing you to use the internet and make calls from anywhere in the world)

If you have an EU SIM card, your mobile data may not work in Switzerland. Please check with your provider before the trip, as you may need to purchase a data package for coverage during your stay.  You can use Airalo and get instant mobile data anywhere in the world

While travel insurance is not mandatory, we highly recommend it to cover unexpected events, including medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and luggage theft. Travel insurance provides peace of mind and ensures you’re protected during your journey.
